Background

Born 25 years in the dead of winter was one Corraidhin de Winterbourne. Named for their great grand father, who died in combat in Carilion. Like his grandfather and father before him, Corr was a ruddy and strong babe. No need of a rusted axe beneath his bed, or other rituals that would insure a healthy babe.

As the eldest son, Corr was squires first under his father and taught the ways of the spear and sword. How to ride and fight on foot and on horseback. And as the boy grew he proved to have a natural knack for the sword, often acquiting himself well in Squires' tournaments- though the circuit was never for him. Instead Corraidhin was prone to hunting and spending his ours in the outdoors when not learning about the religion of his kin or his duties as a knight.

By age 15 he was marked as a man and bore rhe dragons on his body, and would then accompany his father in duty to their Lord. By age 16 he had killed his first man, a bandit that was plaguing the bounds with his bands.

As he grew and matured his father disappeared, mysteriously enough after going to meet with another Lord. Corraidhin suspected foul play, though with no real way of finding out. His uncle took over his knighthood and held regency over the Manor until Corraidhin was formally knighted in 514. thus passing on the reigns to the eldest and hotter headed knight of his siblings.

Corraidhin is generally viewed as a bit crass, but good natured knight, who is more at home in the hedges than in Court. Corraidhin though possesses a natural talent for intrigue and has oft been called upon to aid agents of Lord Robert, in order to fosture this useful ability to the benefit of Salisbury.

With his siblings he is loyal and loving. One could dare say protective, but not overtly so. He cherishes his younger sister, Miruan and sees himself more as her father than brother, given the disappearance of their father, when both were young.

He is devout enough, though a local priest has been seen to be bending his ear and making an effort to try and convert Corraidhin by accompanying him while he hunts or heads to Court.

Characteristics

Regular

Corraidhin stands a little under six feet tall, with dark hair that falls just short of touching his shoulders. The beard that clings to his jaw is well kept and styled, leaving the rest of his face clean. His features are sculpted and lean giving him a youthful appearance. His eyes a light grey, and they frame his hawklike nose. His skin is tanned lightly from long exposure to the outdoors. His arms and legs are corded and thickened with well defined musculature. Like some brothers his arms and torso have been covered in religious tattoos, though these are kept hidden by clothing, unless his sleeves are rolled up. Despite his muscled and somewhat bulky frame, he moves with the fluid, killer grace of a well versed knight

Corraidhin is dressed in a dark shirt, which is tucked into well worn leather breeches. These sport patches of leather and cloth, as repairs have been needed. These breeches are tucked into stained leather boots that are common with rangers and the like. Over his shirt Black leather vest of sorts is worn, the tails dancing above his knees. In this a few plates have been sewn in under, though it'd be hard to distinguish. Over his shoulders and hiding any armor word is a blue surcoat, stained from years at travel. Gauntlets in which the fingers have been removed are worn over his hands-and there dull black steel plate is secured as well as small spikes at the knuckles. About his neck cowl and cloak of black and mottled green is worn, pinned by a silver clasp, bearing his house's crest. Over a shoulder a pauldron is worn, and an arming belt keeps his blades on him at all times.
