Arriving in Tisbury, Master Huntsman Yorrick de Cholderton is filling in for Erylys, the two of them often switching hunts just in case something comes up. Plus, it gives Yorrick a little more work under his belt before he has to take off the time for his wife to give birth. The knight arrives outside of the manor to wait for the hunting party to arrive, one of his hounds trotting to his side as he settles easily in the saddle to wait.
Of course, Maelgwn is ready to go on a hunt- even if it isn't his preferred method of entertainment. He's on horse back, of course, a hunting spear and his blade- a shield strapped to his horse's side in case it becomes required. "Welcome to Tisbury." he offers to Yorrick, with a nod of his head.
Talaith leads her chestnut colored horse out of the stables and mount up. The lady knight is clad in hunting leathers and carries a long spear and a blade sheathed on her person as she trots her horse up to where Yorrick waits along with her brother. She offers him a warm smile and dips her head in a polite greeting. "Hello again and as my brother here said, welcome." Looking to Maelgwn she grins. "Ready to go?" She looks faintly excited.
"Merry met." Yorrick offers the standard greeting of pagans everywhere with a bow of his head. He remembers the giant of a man from court and his hanging around his sister hunter as he grins towards Talaith. "I pray we not meet a unicorn this time, as we may run low on virgins to lure it out." he teases with a chuckle as he turns to glance to his dog. "This is Biscuit's first hunt, so I'm hoping he does well. There was a field not far from here that looked like a good place to start."
"Merry Met." Maelgwn offers back in return, with a nod of his head. "All is well, then, let us hope your dog does well. "It would not bode well to hunt such creatures, I think. Better to stick to deer." he states, with a chuckle. "In any regard, shall we?"
Talaith laughs at the remark from Yorrick. Her smile turns playful. "Merry met and very true. I may be a fairly decent fighter and a passable hunter but alas a virgin I am not." She winks at him and nods looking to the dog curiously. The mention of where to start earns another nod. "That sounds like a good plan to me." She waits for them both to be ready and then starts her horse off, trotting along but letting Yorrick lead the way for now.

It is a short trip to the field. As they arrive, Biscuit, a large hound trots along side his master's horse, before he barks and runs forward. Riding out, Yorrick dismounts for a moment, studying the tracks. "Looks like we had a wolf and a fox tangle here." he says as he studies the scuffle marks in the grass. "Fox went off towards the fields.. looks like the wolf wandered towards the woods." As he points out the tracks, Maelgwn understands the markings that the master hunter is showing. "Which y'all perfer huntin' is the question."
"The fox." Maelgwn states simply. "If that wolf has caused no trouble to Tisbury, it shall be spared a hunt. We do not hunt wolves in Tisbury." he says, "Unless absolutely required."
Talaith considers a moment looking thoughtful. She doesn't seem to be able to make heads or tails of the tracks or markings on the ground. Maelgwn's words have her nodding. "I think the fox would be best as well. I have a healthy respect for wolves and as my brother said if they don't bother us we don't bother them."
Yorrick gives a shrug of his shoulders. "Fox it is, then." He just handles the hunts, he doesn't advise on what they're hunting, unless absolutely neccessary. Climbing back up of his mount, he calls to his dog, "Biscuit! Hunt!" And the hound barks to take off towards the fields to chase after the fox. "Let's ride, then!" he yips and sets off after the fox trail.

Maelgwn comes riding along with Yorrick, nodding a he looks to his sister and they move forward. "So, where is this nimble beast?" he wonders, looking over the turf towards the hunter, just smiling quietly from the back of his horse, hefting his spear.
Talaith rides along with the two others. Her gaze scans the area carefully looking for any signs of a fox. She sees nothing of interest despite her searching gaze. She looks to her brother in faint amusement. "I think maybe its hiding." Her tone is light hearted and a bit teasing as she continues to look for the illsuive animal.
"It's on the move." Yorrick responds as he watches his dog run through the grass, stop to sniff, and then change directions. As he rides, he considers the two. "I heard that I owe ya a thanks, Sir Talaith. Saved my sister's life from some crazy steward of somethin'?" The knight continues his track, he's able to multitask, after all.

Onward they ride! Maelgwn grinning as he looks towards Yorrick- "Lead on, huntsman. I am next to useless in a hunt." he states simply, "I couldn't make hide nor hair of where we're supposed to go." he says as he takes a short breath, "Tal, though. She's a better hunter."
Talaith looks a bit bashful at the mention of that and the thanks. "I just did what any proper knight would have…that steward was crazy though. His own greed was the only thing he seemed to care about. He will likely be punished for his crimes…though I still want to kick him in the balls again for good measure." She shakes her head clearly being honest about that and trying to calm herself, the memory stirring a bit of anger in her now. "Your sister is safe though as is the Lady Lisbeth who was also with us. Thats the important thing." She considers Yorrick a moment now her expression thoughtful as they ride along. For all her practice she cannot seem to up up with the trail very well today.

Yorrick gives a little chuckle as he glances towards Maelgwn. "Well, yer as giant as a bear, ya probably scare off any prey before they get close to ya." he teases the large man as he keeps his horse and dog on the trail and gives Talaith a nod. "Braelynn's a good churiegon, I'm sure she'll fix Lady Lisbeth right up. But I'm gonna need to steal her away for a bit soon. She's midwifin' fer Enfys, and if what she says is true and we're supposed to have twins, we're gonna need all the help we can get fer the births." he says as he continues to lead Biscuit on the path, the dog bounding ahead on occassion.

"That is most likely." Maelgwn offers with a chuckle in return, "I wish you best of luck, in that. May the divine watch over your wife, and may you find yourself the happy father of two very healthy children." The knight offers to Yorrick with a quiet smile. "I'll take the blame for scaring the fox off."
Talaith blinks and looks a bit distracted as Yorrick speaks of his sister. She she does stir from her thoughts for a moment at the news. "Twins? I wish you and your wife the best then and hope they are born healthy and well." She looks a little distracted by something though her expression taking on a faintly distant look as she pays little attention to anything but her thoughts for the moment.
Yorrick is about to say something, when Talaith seems to be distracted and lagging behind. "I don't think she's into the hunting today." At least not this prey. The fox peeks up for a moment and then sudden ducks into a burrow, eluding the hunters, leaving Yorrick to sigh. "I think we can call it a day unless you want to try to dig him out, Sir Maelgwn."
"Hah. No. He's won the day, I'd say. We were out-foxed." Maelgwn offers with a grin to Yorrick. "Its not so bad to have a hunt end with nothing. At least we got out and did something, right?" he wonders, with a smile. "It was a good hunt. You'll stay for dinner, I hope, Yorrick."
"I would be honored to dine with your family, even with the promise of more terrible puns." Yorrick starts to say, but shakes his head. "It is not your hospitality I reject - as I said, my wife is with twins, and their arrival is perhaps a few weeks away. I would like to be able to return to her side as soon as possible." And if he leaves now, he knows he'll get back to Sarum by twilight.
"Of course." Maelgwn offers, "There is no harm in declining. I understand fully." The Knight offers with a nod of his head to the hunter, "You should be welcome, though, if you find yourself this way again. Feel free to drop in."
"I shall." Yorrick offers a bow of his head as he turns his horse and whistles sharply. Biscuit comes running up to the horse where he was digging for the fox, and the knight leans down to pick up the hunting animal so he can carry it back. "I will make sure that Lady Erylys gets your regards and she will be present for the next hunt." There's a playful grin at that as he turns his horse to head back to town.
Maelgwn chuckles, "Careful. She might just show you up." he teases in return, with a shake of his head. "A pleasure, Sir Yorrick. Travel safe, and be well."
"Depends on how much she wants to impress ya." Yorrick grins back before he heads back towards Sarum.
