Standing here is Idris de Bodenham, clad in his blackened chainmail and wearing a fresh tabard of his house, displaying the family crest proudly in front. He has a sword with a bejeweled pommel drawn as he watches other knights fight each other.

Having had little luck so far in the tourney, and thinking a change in field might help, Sir Bradwyn de Idmiston decides to return to the tourney grounds to try again. He is certainly easy to spot as he goes to add his name to the lots to be drawn for the continuation of the personal challenges. Wearing his mail, with a shield and a blunted tourney sword, Bradwyn is easy to notice not due to his athletic build, but the fact he stands at an abnormal six feet in height.
Once signed up he steps to the side to wait for his name to be called. As those currently facing off finish their match a couple minutes later, the names for the next match are called, "Sir Idris de Bodenham and Sir Bradwyn de Idmiston!" as the tall man moves to step into the ring set aside for the challenges. Bradwyn offers a salute with his sword, then readies for the match to start. With so many challenges of late, and as the tourney is diverting to events of greater note, the judges issue the match will end after the first knight lands three strikes against their opponent.

"Good morning," Idris replies, brandishing his sword and offering a salute with it to the other man. He keeps his shield in front of him, so as to better guard his body, before he charges forward to strike the man once the marshal allows them to fight.

Bradwyn says, "To you as well." then the match starts. Perhaps taken by surprise with the sudden charge, Bradwyn isn't able to make much of an attack of his own, though he does get his should up to block the hard blow, and so it starts 1-0 in Idris' favor.

And though it starts like that, Idris fights as though he is on a losing fight, bashing his shield against Bradwyn's in a second offensive and rearing back his sword in order to strike the man at the shoulder. He tries to be as swift as he can with his footwork for further force behind the strikes.

Idris keeps the upper hand, striking once again, and once more Bradwyn brings up his shield to block the heavy blow and remains on his feet. Seems the giant is hard to topple, but easy to hit. Regardless Bradwyn seems determined as the tally reaches 2-0 in Idris' favor and attempt a slash of his own, a bit more focused hopefully, towards the shorter man.

Using his shield to cover him in wake of Bradwyn's attack, Idris tries to continue striking, this time with an overhead chop to the man's torso while his shield deflects the other's intended attack. The Bodenham is concentrated in the fight and his opponent.

Bradwyn's slash misses, though Idris lands another hard blow, which is once more blocked by the taller man's shield, leaving Bradwyn standing still. Still the match is over three to zero strikes in Idris' favor. Bradwyn offers another salute with his sword and says, "Well struck." in a calm, respectful tone before moving to step out of the ring as though he's been doing this for days.

"Thank you," Idris replies, nodding once to the Idmiston knight as he sheathes his sword, heading out of the arena for the time being.
